Sir Alex Ferguson believes Samir Nasri has decided to leave Arsenal, but the France midfielder will not be joining Manchester United.
Nasri, 24, has one year left on his contract and is reportedly reluctant to sign a new deal with the north London club.
He had been linked with a move to join English Premier League champions United, but Ferguson speaking on arrival at his team s pre-season tour of the USA indicated that Nasri would not be arriving at Old Trafford.
I don t think he is coming to United, Ferguson said.
That is all I can tell you. I think that he has agreed to go somewhere else.
Nasri has also been the subject of speculation linking him with a move to Manchester City.
Another possibility is that Wenger may opt not to sell …

Diego Maradona has hit back after Argentine Football Association (AFA) president Julio Grondona branded him a jinx.
Argentina were given a scare by minnows Iran during their second match of the 2014 FIFA World Cup on Saturday, an injury-time stunner from Lionel Messi earning a 1-0 win for Alejandro Sabella s men in Belo Horizonte.
Messi s strike ensured a place in the last 16 for Argentina, and happened just as 1986 World Cup winner Maradona who was in charge when Argentina suffered a disappointing quarter-final exit in 2010 was reported to be leaving Estadio Mineirao.
Grondona, who is also senior vice-president at FIFA, was quick to link Maradona s departure to Argentina s success.
The bad luck charm left the stadium and we won, Grondona said.

Tottenham will take an unusual feeling into their north London derby on Sunday, entering the clash with Arsenal as warm favourites.
Spurs will fancy their chances at White Hart Lane against a weakened and inconsistent Arsenal side still reeling from the loss of players such as Cesc Fabregas, Samir Nasri and Gael Clichy.
Both sides were victorious in midweek European fixtures, yet failed to put on convincing displays.
Arsenal beat Olympiakos 2-1 in the Champions League, while Spurs fought back from a goal down to beat Shamrock Rovers 3-1 in Europa League action.
The most recent clashes between the fierce rivals have produced plenty of goals, with 11 scored in last season s two meetings.

Atalanta goalkeeper Marco Sportiello says he would be proud if reports Napoli are considering signing him prove to be true.
The 23-year-old is in his third season with Atalanta and his second campaign as the first choice between the posts.
Sportiello s displays have reportedly caught the eye of Napoli, who he will line up against on Monday, and the goalkeeper would love the opportunity to play for a club of such stature in the future.
I would be happy and proud if Napoli are looking at me, as they are a special club, he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
At the moment, I m just thinking about playing and then maybe one day I will play for a great club.

Roy Hodgson has called on England to take inspiration from Leicester City s Premier League heroics and claim Euro 2016 glory.
Hodgson named a provisional 26-man squad for the European Championship on Monday, which included Jamie Vardy and Danny Drinkwater from the ranks of the newly-crowned Premier League champions.
England are not viewed among the tournament favourites having failed to reach the semi-finals of a major competition since Euro 96 a feat the Football Association (FA) has publically asked Hodgson to emulate.
But the 68-year-old believes the youth and talent in his squad can take heart from surprise triumphs at the event from Denmark and Greece in 1992 and 2004, along with an even more stunning success story closer to home.

In a battle between two sides seeking some stability, title chases Ahal will welcome Kopetdag Ashgabat to Abadan in what should be a lively contest on Tuesday afternoon.
Starting with the hosts, while Ahal may have managed to pick up what was a much-needed return to winning ways away at Şagadam last week, it does not cover what has been an inconsistent patch for Hojaahmet Arazow s men. Including a 2-1 defeat against defending champions Altyn Asyr a fortnight ago, the Whites are likely to still be reeling from what was a woeful 3-0 drumming against Merw on the road last month. While Ahal might still find themselves sat in pole position to secure another AFC Champions League spot this year, fans around Abadan will have a growing…
Hamburg have been dealt a financial blow after billionaire shareholder Klaus-Michael Kuhne announced he is to stop backing the Bundesliga club due to industry fees now being on a different level .
Kuhne, 80, began investing in his local club in 2015 when he purchased a 7.5 per cent stake for €18.75million, while he also bought the naming rights for their stadium, seeing the previous name – Volksparkstadion – return.
It is estimated that the Kuhne + Nagel majority owner has invested about €60m in the club in total, helping ease their previous financial woes and secure player signings.
But Kuhne, who Forbes reports as being worth €13.1bn, has become unimpressed by the state of modern football, highlighting inflated fees and poor signings.

Marcus Rashford will come back stronger following his penalty miss against Italy and will not be put off from taking spot-kicks for Manchester United, according to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The 23-year-old was one of three England players to fail to convert from 12 yards in Sunday s Euro 2020 final shoot-out loss to Italy, clipping the post with his attempt at Wembley.
Rashford, along with Jadon Sancho and Bukayo Saka, have all suffered racist abuse on social media, prompting an angry response from the Football Association, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Three Lions manager Gareth Southgate.
A mural of Rashford in Manchester was defaced after the game, though supporters have since covered the graffiti with positive messages for the United academy product, who po…
